The Latin / Brazilian style has its origins in South America, particularly Brazil, and its underlying influences are the rhythms and dances of this region, Tango, Rumba, Cha-Cha, Beguine, Samba, Bossa-Nova etc. The composer Carlos Jobim was a prolific and great composer of the genre.
